Felicity’s communications experience includes strategic planning, investor relations, crisis management, reputation management, brand positioning, media relations and internal communications for a variety of international and domestic clients. Felicity relishes challenges from a variety of sectors including biotechnology. She was the New Zealand consultant for Invest Hong Kong from 2005-2010 and also worked with Tourism Malaysia. Currently she is working with three iwi. As a former journalist, Felicity’s positions included Chief Reporter of The National Business Review and Business Producer of TVNZ’s former award-winning website nzoom.com 2000-2002. She was a senior lecturer in journalism at the Auckland University of Technology and has previously owned an import and retail business. In her personal life, she is a Rotarian and honoured to be a double sapphire Paul Harris Fellow.
Brenda is one of the country’s leading strategic communications and media issues specialists.
She has had more than 30 years’ experience in public relations, publishing, journalism and marketing in New Zealand and the UK.
She was GM Communications at Auckland District Health Board for six years and led communications for the country’s largest hospital redevelopment and change programme. Brenda has specialised in the health sector and manages communications for the award-winning National Influenza Immunisation campaign along with major campaigns for the pharmaceutical,bioscience and medical device sector. She has recent experience in the housing, education, commercial design, immigration and technology research fields.
Brenda was a leading business magazine editor and has won 14 Qantas Media Awards. Brenda has won the PRINZ Supreme Award for Crisis Communications. She is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand, former Chair of the PRINZ College of Fellows and a PRINZ awards judge.
