Felicity’s

experience includes

While working across the
spectrum, Felicity
specialises in the
financial services
sector. She was the New
Zealand consultant for Invest Hong
Kong from 2005-2010 and is currently
Vice-President and host
of the secretariat for
the Hong Kong NZ
Business Association
(HKNZBA). As a former
journalist, Felicity’s positions
included Chief Reporter of The
National Business Review and
Business Producer of TVNZ’s award
winning website nzoom.com. She was a
senior lecturer in journalism at the
Auckland University of Technology
and has previously owned an import
and retail business.

Brenda
Saunders

Brenda has worked in public
relations, publishing, journalism,
marketing and advertising both in
New Zealand and the United Kingdom
during her 30-year communications
career. Brenda has expertise in
strategic planning, media relations,
crisis and change management,
community and Government relations.
Her industry experience covers most
areas with particular emphasis on
health, pharmaceuticals, technology,
construction, packaged goods and
retailing. Brenda has worked in
senior consultancy and held the
position of General Manager of
Communications and Community
Consultation at Auckland District
Health Board for six years. She has
won the Public Relations Institute
of New Zealand Supreme Award for
Crisis Communications for a project
in the health sector. She recently
managed regional communications for
the Ministry of Health’s Pandemic
exercise in Auckland.

Mehpara Khan brings knowledge
and a passion for public
relations to her role as PR
Consultant at Trio
Communications. She has
experience in
strategic communications
planning, media relations
campaigns and event management
initiatives.
Before
joining Trio Mehpara handled PR
for a leadership and performance
development consultancy. She has
actively supported
not-for-profit organizations too
through pro bono assignments.
Mehpara is
involved with the Ahmadiyya
Muslim Community in Auckland
writing press releases,
monitoring media and performing
key administrative functions.
Earlier this year she developed
and implemented the publicity
strategy for the launch of the
Maori translation of the Holy
Quran.
Mehpara
has a Bachelors degree in
Communications Studies from
Auckland University of
Technology (AUT), majoring in
Public Relations. She also spent
a year at the University of
Auckland working toward a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Media
and Psychology.

Emma has worked in marketing and
communications, business
development and event management
both in New Zealand and
overseas. Emma has expertise in
strategic planning and
budgeting, communications
management, new product launches
and market research. She
is particularly familiar working
with companies in the financial
sector.
Emma started her career in
London where she worked for 10
years for a number of large
organisations including CIGNA,
Euromoney plc and the Financial
Times group. She has held
a number of senior positions
including Director, Events for
FT Knowledge and the New York
Institute of Finance, and
Business Manager for Euromoney
Training.
Most recently Emma was the
Marketing & Communications
Manager for Russell Investments’
business in New Zealand.
Emma has a law degree from
Waikato University.
