Trio Communications Director Leads PRINZ College of Fellows

Trio Communications director Brenda Saunders was elected Chair of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) College of Fellows at the organisation’s recent Annual General Meeting.

The College of Fellows, via its Executive and elected Fellows’ Chair, oversees the annual PRINZ Communicator of the Year award, mentors students studying for their APR accreditation, judges the PRINZ Awards, considers the ethics of the profession and may be called upon to consider an ethics complaint, uses its networks to source speakers for PRINZ events and considers the future of the industry.

PRINZ Fellows are members of significant standing, who are elected to become Fellows by the Fellows Executive and approved by National Council for induction into the College.

Candidates must have been members of PRINZ for more than 10 years, have a high degree of competence in the practice of public relations, have contributed significantly to the enhancement and development of the public relations profession and have contributed significantly to the enhancement and development of the Institute.
